About

I have been practicing as a clinical psychologist since 2013. In my work I am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where you can feel truly heard, understood, and where you can show up exactly as you are.

I currently divide my time between private practice and a senior clinical psychology role at a major Melbourne public hospital. I specialise in supporting adults with anxiety, OCD, depression, psychosis, relationship challenges, PTSD and mental health issues arising during the perinatal period. My therapeutic approach is informed by evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

ACT, in particular, is a passion of mine—I’m deeply engaged in the ACT community as a practitioner, researcher, author, and trainer. You can hear me talk about ACT on this podcast.

Specialised Focus & Advocacy

Since becoming a parent myself, I’ve developed a strong interest in supporting parents and parents-to-be with their mental health. After facing my own mental health challenges following the birth of my first child, I gained a deep, personal understanding of how these experiences can impact both the mother, father or non-birthing parent and the family system. This lived experience has informed my work and led me to further specialise in perinatal mental health. I warmly welcome referrals from those navigating this major life transition. I’m also listed on the eCOPE directory, which connects people with perinatal mental health professionals.

In addition, I’ve been a long-time advocate for increasing access to holistic, psychosocial treatments for individuals experiencing psychosis. Over the years, I’ve seen how holistic care can lead to transformative outcomes—yet this approach remains unfortunately underutilised in many settings.

Professional Development & Training

Your wellbeing and growth are at the centre of my work. To ensure I’m offering the highest quality care, I engage regularly in professional supervision and ongoing education in emerging, evidence-based practices.

I also provide clinical supervision to psychologists and multidisciplinary clinicians, drawing on more than a decade of diverse experience. In my hospital role, I train professionals across all stages of their careers and deliver workshops on topics including ACT, mindfulness, clinical supervision, and psychological approaches to psychosis. You can find more about these services here.
